What this exam or admission route is
JAM scores support admission to specified M.Sc., joint/dual-degree and related postgraduate programmes. Admission eligibility is programme-specific even after qualifying the paper.
Who can apply
Candidates should check the JAM 2027 eligibility page and the minimum educational qualifications for every desired programme. A valid test paper does not automatically make a candidate eligible for all programmes linked to it.

Preparation and planning
Follow the official syllabus for the chosen paper, solve past JAM papers and practise numerical-answer accuracy without relying on option elimination.

- Recent photograph, signature and valid photo ID
- Category, EWS, PwD, domicile or experience certificate, where applicable
