NIPER JEE is the joint entrance route for notified master’s and Ph.D. programmes across participating National Institutes of Pharmaceutical Education and Research.

Latest verified status: 2027 notification awaited. NIPER Mohali hosted the official 2026 portal with separate/revised brochures and admission procedures for master’s and Ph.D. applicants.

Programme eligibility varies widely across pharmacy, science, engineering and medical backgrounds. Candidates must map their qualifying degree to the precise NIPER programme before applying.

Who can apply

Use the programme-wise eligibility table in the 2027 brochure. A degree that is valid for one specialisation may not qualify for another; GPAT/GATE/NET or fellowship conditions may also apply to specified programmes.

  • Online registration through the designated NIPER JEE portal
  • Entrance examination for notified programme groups

Preparation and planning

Revise core pharmaceutical sciences and the subject area relevant to the desired programme. Ph.D. applicants should also prepare research-method and interview material if required.

  • Class 10 certificate for name and date of birth
  • Qualifying-examination marksheets and certificate
  • Recent photograph, signature and valid photo ID
  • Category, EWS, PwD, domicile or experience certificate, where applicable
