AFMC MBBS Admission 2027 Through NEET: Registration, Screening and Selection Guide
AFMC does not use the old standalone AFMC MBBS written test described in the 2010 blog post. Candidates first qualify NEET UG and then follow the AFMC/MCC registration and screening process announced for the year.
What this exam or admission route is
NEET qualification is only the first step. Shortlisted candidates may face additional screening such as document verification, tests/interview and medical examination as specified by AFMC.
Who can apply
Review NEET UG eligibility as well as AFMC-specific age, marital-status, medical-fitness, nationality and service-obligation conditions. These are specialised requirements and should not be inferred from general MBBS counselling rules.
Exam or selection structure
- Take NEET UG
- Register/indicate AFMC preference through the notified counselling route
- Attend AFMC screening if shortlisted
- Complete medical examination and final admission formalities

- Complete NEET and MCC steps within their separate deadlines
- Keep original academic, identity, category and eligibility documents ready
- Attend screening at the venue and time stated in the call letter
Preparation and planning
Prepare primarily for NEET UG while also understanding AFMC’s service commitment and medical standards before choosing it. Do not treat admission as a simple NEET allotment.
Documents to keep ready
- Class 10 certificate for name and date of birth
- Qualifying-examination marksheets and certificate
- Recent photograph, signature and valid photo ID
- Category, EWS, PwD, domicile or experience certificate, where applicable
- Application confirmation, fee receipt, admit card and scorecard
