MAH MCA CET is the Maharashtra State CET Cell entrance examination for MCA admission. The test and the later Centralised Admission Process are separate stages.

Latest verified status: 2027 notification awaited. The official CET Cell site provides the 2026 brochure and CAP portal as the latest completed reference.

What this exam or admission route is

Candidates first take MAH MCA CET and obtain a score, then register separately for CAP if seeking seats covered by Maharashtra’s centralised process. Institute-level procedures may differ.

Who can apply

The 2027 brochure will define accepted bachelor’s degrees, Mathematics requirements, minimum marks, nationality and category rules. Final-year applicants should confirm the deadline for producing their result.

Exam or selection structure

  • Online computer-based CET
  • Topics generally cover Mathematics and Statistics, logical/abstract reasoning, English and computer concepts
  • Exact question distribution, duration and marking must be taken from the 2027 brochure

How to apply

  1. Register on the CET examination portal
  2. Download the admit card and sit for the CET
  3. After results, register separately for MCA CAP
  4. Verify documents, submit choices, check allotment and complete reporting

Preparation and planning

Revise school and undergraduate-level mathematics, practise reasoning sets and refresh computer fundamentals. Take timed mocks because balanced speed across sections matters.

Documents to keep ready

  • Class 10 certificate for name and date of birth
  • Qualifying-examination marksheets and certificate
  • Recent photograph, signature and valid photo ID
  • Category, EWS, PwD, domicile or experience certificate, where applicable
