ATMA is the AIMS Test for Management Admissions. It is conducted in multiple sessions, but a candidate must check which ATMA session and score a target institute accepts.
What this exam or admission route is
ATMA assesses aptitude for postgraduate management admission. Applying for ATMA does not automatically apply to every institute using the score.
Who can apply
A bachelor’s degree or final-year status is generally relevant, but candidates must verify the current ATMA bulletin and each institute’s separate programme eligibility.
Exam or selection structure
- Analytical reasoning skills
- Verbal skills
- Quantitative skills
- Sections may appear in multiple parts; confirm duration and marking from the live bulletin
How to apply
- Register on the official ATMA website
- Pay the fee and complete the candidate profile
- Download the admit card and follow the test-mode instructions
- Send/apply with the score to selected institutes as required
Preparation and planning
Alternate timed practice among quantitative, reasoning and verbal areas. Because ATMA has several sessions, plan preparation for the specific score-acceptance deadline of target colleges.
Documents to keep ready
- Class 10 certificate for name and date of birth
- Qualifying-examination marksheets and certificate
- Recent photograph, signature and valid photo ID
- Category, EWS, PwD, domicile or experience certificate, where applicable
